ABOUT

Buck McCrae is the KPL’s most marketable fighter and its first homegrown star. A former junior rodeo champion and pipeline welder, McCrae discovered kidney punching at a bar in Midland, Texas, where it was apparently a regular Friday night activity. He joined the KPL in 2020 and has held the Heavyweight title twice. His sponsorship deal with Patriot Beef Jerky is the largest individual endorsement in KPL history.

Fighting StyleRotational Torque Punching
Entrance MusicAggressive southern rock with what appears to be a live fiddle player walking behind him.

SPECIAL MOVE

The Lone Star Liver Loosener

A twisting hook delivered with rodeo-level hip rotation. McCrae generates torque from his boots through his hips, producing a strike that ringside analysts have compared to 'getting hit by a screen door in a tornado.' The move has a 73% hematuria rate when landed clean.

TACTICAL ANALYSIS

Known Vulnerability: Overcommits after crowd chants. If the audience starts a 'BUCK! BUCK! BUCK!' chant, McCrae will attempt a showboat strike that leaves him off-balance.

TRAINING REGIMEN

  • Punching oil drums behind his cousin's shop
  • Tractor tire sled pulls across a dirt lot
  • Beef jerky-only diet (sponsored by Patriot Beef Jerky)
  • 'Kidney conditioning' — has his training partner punch him in the kidneys every morning
