ABOUT
Daryl Hensley is a fan favorite despite—or perhaps because of—his losing record. A maintenance worker at a state park in the Ozarks, Hensley competes in the KPL “for the extra income and because my wife says I need a hobby.” He is the oldest active fighter on the heavyweight roster and holds the KPL record for most rounds fought (247) and most rounds absorbed without producing blood (189). He has never once appeared concerned during a bout.
VITAL STATS

SPECIAL MOVE
The Ozark Clamp
Not a single devastating strike but a methodical, round-after-round body assault that mentally breaks opponents. Hensley's strikes aren't the hardest in the division, but he never stops coming. Judges have described his style as 'water torture but with fists.'
TACTICAL ANALYSIS
Known Vulnerability: Occasionally forgets the round number. Has been known to walk to the wrong corner.
TRAINING REGIMEN
- Splitting firewood (8 cords per week)
- Wrestling hogs (reportedly undefeated)
- Drinking gas-station coffee (estimates 12 cups daily)
- Standing in cold creek water 'to toughen the organs'
